Travel & Tourist Info How to get to Pedasi Your have the option to either drive down your own car, rent a car, book a flight or take a bus. Driving Directions  From Panama City it takes about 4-5 hours to drive to the town of Pedasi. 30 minutes more to get to Playa Venao. It is a lovely drive over good roads. You take the Pan-American Highway until Divisa, then turn southward toward Chitre. There is a newer bridge on the left lane - right after you will take the exit on the right. The road - Carretera Nacional will bring yo to the entrance of Chitre, where you may follow this Carretera Nacional through the town in the direction of Las Tablas, or there is also a road to your right that will take you to the other end of town if you wish to bypass the town. Once in Las Tablas, continue to the end of the road where you will find a park on your right (after the Policia Nacional). At this intersection, take a hard left and continue on this road which loops along the east coast of the peninsula for about 41km before entering Pedasi. You will be passing Santo Domingo, Guarare, and Pocri. In the town of Pedasi it becomes Avenida Central, the main north-south strip in town. The Central Park ("parque central") is one block east of the main road. In contrast to the rest of the country, most streets in Pedasi have signs and might make it to the best labeled town in the country. If you wanna go to Playa Venao, just drive through Pedasi and continue on the same road for about 30 minutes. You will see a few of the bright pink painted bus stations along the way.
